Antoine and the master ribbon maker, tale and workshop
Visit the Comines Ribbon Museum with a time machine! This is the adventure that the Ribbon Masters offer little Antoine, who, from being an apprentice weaver in the Middle Ages, becomes a Marmouset and factory worker in 1900.

Plugstreet 14-18 experience
‘Victor in the eye of the storm’
A more elaborate version of this nice story is presented here. The pupils experience the daily life of Victor and his companion, John, a young British soldier, and the development of their friendship. The visit to the Interpretation Centre, adapted to the children’s age, focuses on the highlights of the story. Additional activities (optional)
• Discover objects from the ‘Talking Trunk’ through mysterious drawings and clues.
• Treasure hunt through the woods ‘A Walk around Plugstreet’: search for markers and discover various sites from 1914-18 and places where John, Victor’s young soldier friend, lived.
• Visit the British Memorial and pay tribute to the soldiers who fell in 1914-18.
• Afternoon snack: as frugal as that of the soldiers in 1914-18.
