Telephone Museum
A museum in an estaminet!
Here is a collection of over 500 telephones, some 200 of which are on display in the windows of the Café de l’Hôtel de Ville in Warneton. It is very unusual indeed!
A collector’s feat
Enthusiast and voluble, Daniel Castryck will undoubtedly put you ‘on the line’. His incredible collection goes from hand-crank, horn, dial and push-button phones to cordless and portable ones. There is even an hygienophone of the 1920s, designed to prevent the spread of disease.
