A small museum where tools reign supreme
This museum is the dream come true of Marcel Leplat, a retired carpenter who collected more than 2,000 tools that his father and grandfather used before him.
Wooden language
Lever, burr, adze, planer, marking gauge, jointer plane, spokeshave, hand drill… are beautiful words that fly away like wood shavings under a plane. Each tool has its use, each vitrine its specificity. Each machine reveals an anecdote, a page in the history of craftsmanship and family passion.
